In 2011, the company collaborated with the Wuhan Gas and Thermal Planning and Design Institute and the Hubei Gas Science and Technology Association to draft and complete the DB42 standard for galvanized steel pipe conical external thread joints in Hubei Province.
In 2013, the company's efforts resulted in the successful application of the world's first medium-diameter welded pipe thread roller at a construction site in Wuxi undertaken by China Resources Gas in collaboration with Wuxi Municipality.
By 2016, the D050CR CNC thread rolling machine was finalized and played a pivotal role in Shanghai Gas Market North Sales Co.’s study on "New Pipe Material Applications in Above-Ground Gas Pipelines." The machine was conclusively recommended for use based on the study.
In 2017, Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. Shanghai Gas First Pipeline employed the project equipment successfully for the global debut of rolling processing and installation of a DN100 (114mm) epoxy-coated galvanized seam welded pipe thread at a residential construction site in North Cai, Pudong.
In 2018, in response to directives from the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission under documents 2018(474) and (581), Shanghai Gas Group Co., Ltd. broadly implemented new equipment, technology, and processes for rolled pipe threads in the renovation of old gas pipelines.
In 2019, the company received the Excellence Award and the Best Analysis and Evaluation Award at the first Greater Bay Area High-Value Patent Competition, followed by an Excellence Award at the 3rd Hangzhou Mayor's Cup High-Value Patent Competition later that year.
Also in 2019, it was listed in Shanghai's "2019 Recommended Directory of Innovative Products." By March 2020, the company’s equipment was selected by the Shanghai Steel Pipe Association as an industry-renowned product for 2018-2019. In July 2020, it was recognized as a patent pilot demonstration enterprise and later gained the title of Excellence in Shanghai's patent pilot demonstration in 2022.
In September 2021, the company won an award in the 2021 Shanghai Emerging Science and Technology Collaborative Innovation Competition. By October 2022, it ranked among the top 100 enterprises in the first Shanghai High-Value Patent Operation.
November 2022 saw the company win the 4th Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Award, and in March 2023, it received the 2022 Gas Safety Innovation Achievement Award.
Completing a milestone, in January 2024, the company led the compilation of the "Technical Regulation for Conical External Thread Connection of Rolled Gas Steel Pipes." In 2025, it was named a "Specialized and Innovative" enterprise in Shanghai.
