On June 4, 2025, the World Environment Expo, co-organized by authoritative bodies such as the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and the China Energy Conservation Association, along with Shanghai He Rui Exhibition, grandly opened in Shanghai. With its high service standards and international reach, the expo has been certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), attracting over 4,000 companies from around the world and covering an area of 260,000 square meters. This global platform focuses on energy conservation, emission reduction, and low-carbon environmental protection, aiming to provide systematic green solutions for the entire industry.
Jinan Maike Pipeline, a Vice President unit of the Association, and Jiangsu Zhongxin Pipe Industry, a member unit, participated in the expo. Invited representatives from the Association included Secretary-General Wei Liqun, Market Director Wang Youguo, and Membership Director Liu Zhenghao.
The World Environment Expo showcased comprehensive solutions for water, air, solid waste, and soil pollution prevention and environmental monitoring. In the industrial sector, it highlighted key technologies such as energy-saving renovations of general equipment, waste heat and pressure recovery, and energy and water conservation. These technologies play a crucial role in advancing green manufacturing transformation. By presenting these innovative solutions, the expo not only caters to industry but also finds applications in municipal, livelihood, and agricultural sectors, making it a pivotal link in the green economy supply chain. It is a driving force for China to achieve its dual-carbon goals and accelerate the establishment of a green, low-carbon circular economy.
The Ninth Shanghai Pipeline System Exhibition, a significant part of the World Environment Expo series, is dedicated to deeply cultivating various segments of the pipeline industry. Focusing on metal pipes, plastic pipes, and plumbing valves, the exhibition spectacularly showcased numerous high-tech innovations and solutions, providing a one-stop resource-sharing and business exchange platform for industrial, municipal, and commercial space development. It exhibited pipeline and valve products covering the entire supply chain in the industrial application field, forming a conceptual integration with pumps and environmental monitoring equipment, which attracted professional audiences from 38 end-user industries, including water utilities, design institutes, engineering companies, as well as the oil, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.
The Association's booth enhanced its visibility in the industry, promoting continuous service and development of its members. The booth also showcased new products developed and produced by member units such as Shanghai Fanhua. Through this expo, participants and visitors could fully understand the new technologies and trends in energy conservation, environmental protection, and pipeline systems while deepening their understanding of the green economy. This collective effort promotes sustainable development across the industry chain and contributes to the accelerated realization of green low-carbon goals.
