On June 18th and 19th, Gong Hongliang, the Party Branch Secretary of the Association, led a delegation including Sun Yongxi, Chairman of the Expert Committee, and Vice Chairman Zhang Yaofei, to visit Shandong Donghong Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as Donghong Holdings) upon their invitation. They were warmly received by Xue Chunde, Vice President of Donghong Holdings; Ma Boqun, Manager of the International Market Overseas Operations, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Sun Zhizhuang, Director of the R&D Center; Kong Weichuan, Minister of the R&D Technology Department; Hu Detu, Chief Engineer in the R&D Department; and Xu Haijin, a Senior Welding Engineer.
Accompanied by Sun Zhizhuang and Kong Weichuan, the group toured the Donghong Intelligent Experience Center. They listened to detailed explanations on the company's growth history, party-led development, corporate culture, and pipeline products. In the party construction demonstration area, the delegation observed and appreciated the achievements of the party's guidance and took photos to commemorate the visit.
The delegation also visited the site of the preliminarily completed and undergoing hot testing, pre-finishing welding spiral submerged arc welded pipe production line. They observed the advanced equipment and orderly trial production scene. In a meeting session, Xue Chunde, on behalf of Chairman Ni Liying, welcomed the guests and introduced the company. He highlighted Donghong Holdings' commitment to composite pipes and mixed supply models, noting growth in business performance even amidst market downturns due to self-developed core materials and contributions to national strategic projects.
Xue emphasized the company's quick decision-making and differentiated product strategy, achieving stable annual sales of 2.5 to 3 billion yuan. Internally, they maintain strict control over operation funds and logistics, avoiding stagnant materials. The company started with mine pipes and has expanded into water conservancy and pipeline restoration fields. Donghong's culture fosters learning and dedication among its 400+ marketing team, who regularly engage in training sessions.
Looking ahead, Xue mentioned opportunities in chemical, power, and nuclear power investments and sought support from the industry association, highlighting available project land.
Gong Hongliang expressed gratitude for Donghong's integration into the Association, recalling hosting Donghong's Vice President Liu Bin previously. He praised Donghong's party-led achievements and management team. Both parties aim to deepen understanding, cooperation, and market insight, fostering strategic planning and collaboration for mutual development.
Sun Yongxi introduced the expert committee's role in supporting the pipe industry, detailing their efforts in standardizing products and the "Pipe Craftsman" initiative.
